On May 16 and 17, 2025, GreenKidz was invited by the Bonaire Municipal Health Service (GGD) to pay a working visit to Bonaire. Following working visits to Aruba and Sint Eustatius, the Bonaire Municipal Health Service was keen to actively implement the GreenKidz mosquito prevention program on their own island.

The aim of the working visit was to transfer the GreenKidz mosquito prevention program ‘Don’t give mosquitoes a chance’ to the vector specialists of the Bonaire Municipal Health Service through a two-day train-the-trainers program (May 16 and 17), as well as the GreenKidz teaching materials, which were expanded and adapted especially for the Bonaire Municipal Health Service.
Commissioned by the GGD Bonaire, GreenKidz designed a special customized teaching program that enabled the vector specialists to conduct short 90-minute workshops at schools and after-school care organizations. This program was tested very successfully on May 17 with approximately 30 local children at the Tera Cora community center.
